Book Review: Face Off by Brenda Novak

Face Off: Technically the 3rd book in the Evelyn Talbot series.  I started this series with the prequel, "Hanover House" and was hooked from day 1.  Each book was an edge of your seat reading with all the twists and turns.  For a doctor working with the type of psychopaths Dr. Talbot works with you can't begin to imagine the horrors she hears on a daily basis but none can compare, in her mind, to the horror she lived through as a teenager at the hands of her then-boyfriend, Jasper Moore.  Jasper has managed to stay out of prison and off-grid, but he has never stopped killing, and he has always had only one true agenda, to kidnap Dr. Evelyn Talbot and finish what he started so long ago.  He has deep, evil plans for her and she along with her current beau, Amarok, are racing time to catch him before he kills again and before he claims her again to carry out his horrid plan.  Each woman, each murder has led up to his getting Evelyn and in his sick mind, he believes he has created the perfect scenario.  It is not something a normal person would think of,  but no spoilers here, you will have to read to find out.  You won't be disappointed.
